leadership position. Chinese foreign-related companies and managers no longer have

to largely adapt to foreigners and foreign cultures but may also need to

enhance new cross-cultural leadership skills in order to confidently influence

market will be growing at an unprecedented

pace than that of other countries, Western

economies and markets with America’s  as

the core might be losing its global leadership position. Economic basis

determines superstructure, Chinese culture will be more influential and

dominant

For many years before, Chinese have been at a stance of being led and

influenced in terms of Chinese-western cross-cultural economic or business

cooperation.

However, now It is almost essential for cross-cultural managers to

integrate Chinese culture such as “The highest good is like that of water” into
